Engine 4 Dispatched To Cover New Castle County Station 23

At 0450 Hrs Station 44 was dispatched by Kent Center to transfer one engine to Station 23 Minquas. Rescue/Engine 44-4 made the response with a crew of 5 under the command of 44-19 (E.Neeld). While the rescue/engine was at Station 23, they handled a commercial fire alarm activation and a MVC on interstate 95. Crews remained at Station 23 until 1324 hrs.

 

Station 44 had a second crew make the response to relieve crews due to a possible long duration cover up. Station 23 along with numerous other companies from New Castle County, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey were operating on a 4 alarm fire in the City of Wilmington .
