Chimney Fire

At 0342 hrs Station 44 was dispatched to 66 Monrovia Ave for a chimney fire. Engine 44-2 responded under the command of 44-22 (S.Long). Kent Center advised that the RP was advising that she had a fire in the chimney with smoke in the residence. Once the Ladder arrived on scene, the main was placed in service so crews could access the chimney. No extension was found into the residence and the scene was placed under control.
