MVC with Injuries - 979 Duck Creek Parkway

At 1921 hrs, Station 44, along with Ambulances 64 and 43 were alerted for a MVC unknown in the area of 979 Duck Creek Parkway. With a crew in the station, 44-4 made the quick response under the command of 44-15(B.Jarrell) and a crew of 8, followed by Rescue 44 and 44-0. Engine/Rescue 44 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle into a electric pole with wires down and extensive damage to the pole. Ambulance 64 arrived and stage behind 44-4. Patient contact was made by the crew from 44-4. 44-15 was advised that there was just a single patient. Ambulance 43 was canceled. Town of Smyrna electric dept was requested to the scene. 44-15 placed the scene under control, holding the assignment to 44-4 and B64. B64 Transported one patient to Smyrna Clayton Emergency Dept. Units cleared and the scene was turned over to Smyrna Police and Station 44 Fire Police. Fire Chief Brian Jarrell Had Command Units Responding: 44-4, Rescue 44, 44-0, B64, A43, Smyrna Police, Town of Smyrna Electric Dept.
