Reported Working Townhouse Fire - 40 Salerno Dr.

At 7:09am, CHC along with Ladder Company 45, Ambulance 64, KM6 was dispatched to 42 Salerno Dr. in the Cambria Village development for a reported porch on fire with exposure into the townhouse. 44-2 made the response within minutes under 44-15 (Chief Jarrell), followed by Ladder, 44-3, 44-5 and Rescue. While in route 44-32 arrived on scene and advised 44-2 that there was a small deck fire at 40 Salerno Dr. Crews arrived on scene and stretched the rear 300’ 1 ¾” to the rear on the structure and made a quick knock. Quint 45 and Ladder 44 arrived and positioned themselves for roof operation. Rescue 45 arrived and laid out to 44-2 for the hydrate at Salerno Dr. and Cotswood Ct. 44-3 arrived and staged at the hydrate at Cambria Ln and Salerno Dr. 44-5 and Rescue both staged with Rescue 45. Check of the fire apartment, along with the B and D exposure resulted in negative fire spreader from the rear deck area into the building. 44-15 went under control holding to 44-2, Ladder 44 and Quint 45, all other units returned.
