MVC with injuries Dupont Parkway At Route 1 onramp

Station 44 along with Ambulance 64 were dispatched to the area of Dupont Parkway in the area of the Route 1 Northbound on ramp. Rescue/Engine 44-4 made the response under the command of 44-19(E.Neeld) with a crew of 6 followed by the Rescue and Brush Truck. While responding Kent Center advised of one injury. 44-4 arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle MVC involving a small SUV and a flat bed truck. Crews assisted EMS with patient care and secured both vehicles. DNREC was contacted via phone in reference the DEF tank leaking on the Flatbed. Scene was placed under control and units returned. C64 transported one patient to Kent General Hosptial .
