Working Residential Structure Fire

At 1224 hrs, Station 44, Rescue Company 43, Amb 64 and KM6 were dispatched for a reported working house fire in the area of 182 Fairway Circle. 44-2 and R43 both quickly made the response. Kent Center advised units responding that they were receiving multiple calls reporting smoke and fire coming from the house. Units arrived on scene to find heavy fire conditions coming from a single story rancher with fire in the garage with exposure into the house. Rescue 43 and Engine 2 pulled multiple lines while the ladder conducted the primary search. With Limited hydrants in the area Tanker company 53 was requested as well. Engine 46, who was on the street relocated to Station 43, was also redirected to the scene. Interior crews reported heavy fire conditions in the attic. Engine company 45 was also dispatched to assist. The Scene was placed under control at 1320hrs with units working.
