FIREHOUSE SUBS PUBLIC SAFETY FOUNDATION GRANT AWARDED

The Citizens’ Hose Company of Smyrna, Delaware would like to announce that the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has awarded our volunteer fire company a complete set of Hurst EDraulics extrication equipment.  This equipment, valued at $35,959, is designed to help firefighters rescue persons trapped in vehicles quickly and efficiently and will hopefully lead to better patient outcomes.  

A media event will be scheduled at our fire house (103 W. Commerce Street, Smyrna DE) at a date soon to be announced. This media event will include a demonstration of our new equipment.

Through the non-profit 501(c)(3), Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has granted more than $35 million to hometown heroes in 47 states, Puerto Rico and Canada, including more than $35,000 in Delaware.
