Service Call - Wawa 500 Jimmy Dr, Smyrna
Wednesday, January 6, 2021

At 0731, the Citizens’ Hose Company along with the American Legion Ambulance, Station 64 were dispatched to 500 Jimmy Drive, the South Smyrna Wawa for a service call.  B-64 & 44-9 arrived to a driver of a Nissan Altima who had their finger stuck in-between their seat rails. The driver was attempting to retrieve their key fob which had fallen beneath their seat.  Crews from Rescue 44 along with mechanics from Willis Chevrolet Buick who were on site, began to work to disassemble the seat successfully.

A special thank you to Willis Chevrolet Buick who was able to supply two mechanics to assist with this unique rescue.
