Tanker Co. Assist Sta. 45 - Salvage Yard Fire - 4160 Downes Chapel Rd., Clayton

On August 13th units from the Clayton Fire Co. were dispatched to a car fire, and found an auto salvage yard with numerous vehicles, tires, and debris ofn fire.  Sta. 44 was alerted for a tanker company assist.  Tanker 44 and Engine 44-3 respsonded initially, and then 44-8 was later sent to the scene with additional manpower.   Crews from both E-3 and 44-8 assisted with extinguishment, while T-44 was used as a drop point for water shuttle operations.   Sta. 44 had approximately 15 members on scene to assist.
