Trailer Fire - 125 Ivy Ridge Dr., Holly Hill Estates

At 0501 on 9/27/07 Sta. 44 units were alerted for a possible trailer fire at 125 Ivy Ridge Dr. in the Holly Hill Estates Mobile Home Park.  Upon its 10-2 Engine 44-2 found a single wide trailer with nothing evident from the front.  The crew entered the home and found a heavy smoke condition, but no fire.  Crews began investigating with a thermal imaging camera to find the source.  While E-2's crew was inside the crew from E-3 began to investigate the outside, and found a fire underneath of the rear of the trailer.  A 1 1/2" handline was pulled and the fire was quickly knocked down.  Crews performed overhaul and found no extension into the interior of the trailer.  Crews remained on scene to assist with lighting for FM-13.  Units responding: 44-2, 44-3, R-44, T-44, L-44, and FM-13.  OIC was Chief John L Embert III.
