Danger Rangers Safety Backpacks support Citizens’ Hose Fire Company
Educational Adventures, creators of the ever popular safety characters called the Danger Rangers, has teamed up with the Citizens’ Hose Fire Company, No. 1, Inc. to promote life safety for children and families in our community.
Backpacks of Danger Rangers safety gear are now available at JCPenney stores. These backpacks include exclusive Danger Rangers logo items and safety videos. Money earned from these backpacks will help the JCPenney after school programs across the country through the JCPenney Afterschool Fund. “In addition to helping JCPenney these backpacks will help fire companies such as ours,” said Fire Chief John Embert III.
Now through the end of April, Educational Adventures is taking online pledges to purchase these backpacks. Pledges help the fire department earn free safety material. “With as few as 85 pledges, our department can earn $3,000 in free safety materials,” stated Embert. According to Fire Prevention Chairman Tom Emerson, Danger Rangers materials are used extensively in the RISK WATCH® elementary school programs and other safety programs offered by the fire company. “These free educational materials will go a long way in furthering our safety efforts in the community,” said Emerson. “Just think what these pledges can do!”
