Rollover involving Dumptruck - S. DuPont Blvd. & Big Oak Rd.

At 0957 Sta. 44 along with Amb. 64, Kent. Co. Medics and T-4 were dispatched to a MVC with rollover involving a dumptruck. E44-4 under command of Capt. Coulbourne responded and arrived to find a 2 vehicle MVC with a tri-axle dumptruck on its side with its load spilled across the median and roadway. The driver of the truck was able to climb out through his windshield with assistance, and sustained only minor injuries. The truck was fully loaded with crush & run, and was spilled out into the south bound lanes of Rt. 13 and the median. Both drivers were packaged and transported to KGH by EMS crews from 64 & 43 along with KM6. Crews assisted with clean up of the roadway, and placed sta-dri down to soak up any fuel that may have leaked out of the fuel tanks. Crews were in service for 31 minutes, and 33 members responded. Units responding: E44-4, R-44, 44-0, B-64, A-43, KM6, T-4, DSP, and DelDot. OIC was Capt. Tate Coulbourne.
