Fire Prevention Week - Schools & Daycare Centers in Sta. 44 local

During Fire Prevention Week 2008, the Fire Prevention Committee met with numerous groups both at the fire house and at daycares and schools throughout our fire district. In total, over 1,100 children from 11 child care centers and 2 schools got to learn how to stay safe in case of a fire. October 3rd - Loving Care Nursery and Smyrna Day Nursery October 6th - Smyrna Elementary School preschool class October 7th - Smyrna Elementary School preschool class October 8th - Sunnyside Elementary School and a private daycare October 9th - Children Are the Future, Tender Loving Kare, Smyrna Wesleyan Preschool, Smyrna Church of Christ, and Safety Town was at the firehouse October 10th - Expanding Our Kids World October 13th - St. Peter's Child Care Center October 15th - St. Polycarp's Child Care Center
