National Night Out - Smyrna, DE

On Tuesday, August 31, the Citizens' Hose Company took part inthe annual National Night Out event in downtown Smyrna. The event was re-scheduled this year due to ongoing construction in town. Ladder-44 was set-up at the end of Main St. to display the American flag and was joined at the event by "Old Mom" and Ranger-44. Several mambers of the company helped out in showing the public the trucks and members of the Fire Prevention Committee and Auxiliary handed out fire prevention information and water bottles. There was a great turnout from the public and we look foward to the event again next year.
