Control Burn - 738 Paddock Rd.

This past Saturday at 0700 crews participated in the controlled burning of a small house, shed, and brush pile at 738 Paddock Rd.  The burn allowed members to be able to train in different aspects.  Several new probationary members practiced thier hose handling skills, flowing water, and practiced with some handtools.  The day also allowed for several members the ability to practice pumping, and water supply operations.  All crews were clear the burn and back in the station at 0917.

Units on scene: E44-4, E44-3, T44, 44-10 & 44/45 Fire Police

As crews were loading up on the trucks at the station to leave for the burn, Sta. 44 was dispatched for a building fire/AFA at the North Wawa.  Crews placed the scene under control and then continued on to the burn.
