MVC with rollover and flyout - Smyrna Leipsic Rd. & Big Woods Rd.

While crews were at the station preparing for the DVFA Convention Parade the next day, at 1934 the CHC, Amb. 64, KC Medics, & T4 for dispatched for a reported MVC with rollover and entrapment. E44-4 under command of Chief Coulbourne, E44-2, & 44-10 responded immediately fully staffed. While en-route Kent Center advised Sta. 53 was now being dispatched due to a change in location of the incident. Initially dispatched as Smyrna Leipsic & Big Oak Rd., but second reports advised at Big Woods Rd. in Sta. 53 local. Upon arrival of units crews found a single vehicle rollover off the roadway. 44-15 assumed command, and advised no entrapment. Crews from 44-4 & R53 assisted with patient care and packaging. The pt was evaluated by EMS on scene and eventually transported to CER by Trooper 4. 44-15 placed the scene under control once the pt was transported and turned the scene over to DSP.
Units on scene: E44-4, E44-2, 44-10, R53-6, Amb. 64, KM-6, KM-5, Trooper 4, DSP, & 44/53 Fire Police. Chief Coulbourne, 44-15 had Big Woods Command.
While crews were responding to the rollover a second alarm in the district was dispatched for a gas leak/outside off of Brenford Rd. E44-2, & 44-10 redirected to the gas leak, and E44-3, & L44 responded from the station.
By the end of the night the CHC responded to 7 alarms the night before the convention parade.
