House Fire with fire showing - 62 Monrovia Avenue

At 11:06 CHC units were alerted for a residential structure fire at 62 Monrovia Ave. Soon after dispatch the alarm was upgraded to a working alarm. With the working alarm Station 45 was alerted, Ambulance 64, and KM-9. 44-2 responded shortly after and upon arrival found a 2 1/2 story residential structure with fire showing from the bravo side. E44-2's crew went to work stretching a hand line for suppression. Ladder 44 arrived and 44-21 (Torres) assumed the command. Quint 45's crew dropped a supply line to 44-2 and assisted with suppression on the second floor. Shortly there after the incident was placed under control. Crews remained on scene overhauling and awaiting the Fire Marshall investigation. All units were cleared at the conclusion of the overhaul. Lt. Tyler Torres had Monrovia command.
