Motorcycle MVC with flyout - a/o 1168 Woodland Beach Road

At 1501 hrs, Station 44 along with Ambulance 64 were dispatched for a MVC with injuries. Engine 44-4 went responding under the command of 44-18 (E. Pierson Jr). Kent Center advised units responding that this was going to be a single motorcyle off the road, with a male subject with head and leg injuries. 44-4 arrived on scene to find a motorcycle off the road into the marsh area. Ambulance 64 arrived on scene and ALS was requested for the patient due to his injuries. KM-6 and Trooper 4 were dispatched. Rescue 44 arrived and assisted with patient care and packaging. 44-0 arrived and was instructed to set up a LZ for T-4 at the Smyrna Airport. The patient was packaged and loaded into A64 and transported to the LZ with KM-6 on board. Trooper 4 arrived and the patient was transported to the Christiana Trauma Center. The scene was placed under control and all units returned. Scene was turned over to Delaware State Police. Captain Easley Pierson Jr. had Command.
