Ladder Co. Asst. Sta. 45 on Gas Leak - First State Military Academy, Clayton

At 0848 Kent Center alert Sta. 45 and 44 for a gas leak at the First State Military Academy on West Duck Creek Rd. in Clayton. Ladder 44 and E44-3 responded to assist. Upon arrival L44 was assigned to stage with E45-3 and send its crews up to assist with isolating the leak, and opening up the facility for ventilation. E44-3 stood by at the hydrant. After the situation was placed under control units assisted 45 units with picking up hose and placing thier trucks back in service. All units cleared the scene and returned to quarters.
