MVC Multiple Injuries - Route 1 Northbound North of Exit 114

At 1456 hrs, Station 44 along with Ambulance 43 (Cheswold) were dispatched to the area of Exit 114 on Route 1 for a MVC with 2 reported injuries. Engine 44-2 made the response under command of 44-19(E.Neeld) with a crew or 6. While responding 44-32(A.Lennox) arrived on scene and advised Engine 2 that the MVC was going to north of the exit. Engine 2 arrived on scene to find a 2 vehicle MVC involving a small SUV and a Camper. The Engine crew split while half secured both vehicles and the others evaluated the patients. Rescue 44 arrived and was instructed to assist with patient care. Ambulance 43 arrived on scene. The Scene was placed under control. Ambulance 43 received 2 refusals. Crews cleared the highway turning the scene over to Delaware State Police.
