MVC - Route 1 SB a/o Smyrna Leipsic Road

At 0558, the CHC, Ambulance 64, Kent County Paramedics and Trooper 4 were dispatched to an MVC with entrapment on Route 1 Southbound in the area of Smyrna Leipsic Road. 44-2 responded within minutes under the command of 44-17 (Thompson). While enroute, Kent Center advised that DSP was on scene with negative entrapment. 44-2 and Rescue 44 arrived and found a total of three vehicles involved. Crews assisted with securing the vehicles and the scene. Route 1 was closed for approximately 1 hour, while units could work to clear the debris from the roadway.
