Trailer fire with subject trapped - 157 Hemlock Way, Holly Hills Trailer Park

On Nov. 21st at 0050 units were dispatched for a reported working trailer fire with possible exposures.  Engine 44-2 with 44-15 went 10-8 with a full crew within minutes.  While units were en-route FM-13 arrived and confirmed a working alarm, with no exposures.  A minute later he came back and advised of a female subject trapped in the rear bathroom of the trailer.  Upon 10-2 crews found a single wide trailer with heavy smoke showing, and fire coming from the living room area.   Half of the crew from 44-2 quickly knocked down the fire, while the other half made their way back to the bathroom, where they found the victim.  The homeowner was carried outside and first aid was rendered until arrival of EMS crews.   Crews from 44-3, R-44, and T-44 performed ventilation, and overhaul.  The bulk of the fire was contained to the living room area, but heavy smoke and heat damage was sustained throughout the house.  The pt was transported to KGH by A-64 & Medic 66.  The CHC had 38 members in service for 1 hr 10 minutes.  Units responding: 44-2, 44-3, R-44, T-44, A-64, Medic 66 & 65, FM-13, DSP, and Smyrna PD.  OIC was Chief John L. Embert III.
