Rollover with pole and wires down - 5100 Block of DuPont Parkway

On March 8th @ 1856 units were dispatched to the area of the 5100 block of DuPont Parkway for a PI with a rollover and subjedcts possibly trapped. Engine 44-4 under command of 44-18 responded quickly with a full crew. Upon 10-2 a car was found on its roof with a telephone pole sheered in half with low hanging power lines. Both occupants were out of the vehicle, and being tended to by several members who responded POV. R-44 arrived and assisted with cleaning up the roadway, and 44-0 assisted with traffic control. Both occupants were evaluated by KM-6 and B-64. The passenger was transported to KGH with a minor leg injury and the driver refused service. DP&L was contacted in reference to the broken pole. OIC was Capt. Tate Coulbourne. Units were in service for 34 minutes, and 40 members responded. Units responding: Engine 44-4, Rescue 44, 44-0, B-64, KM-6, Trooper 4, DSP, and DelDot.
