Woods/Field Fire - Salerno Dr., Cambria Village

At 1441 units were dispatched to a reported field fire behind the Sunnyside Acres community. Brush 44-0 under command of Capt. Isaac Hankins responded within minutes. While en-route Kent Center adivsed to make access from Cambria Village. 44-0 arrived and found a small 20x50 patch of grass on fire in the undeveloped portion of the development. The fire was quickly extinguished and placed under control. SPD was on scene and advised it was started by children playing with a lighter. FM 19 contacted while SPD attempted to find the subjects. Units were in service for 32 minutes, and 33 members responded to the alarm. OIC was Capt. Isaac J. Hankins. Units responding: Brush 44-0, E44-4, Rescue 44, SPD, and FM-19.
