MVC - Route 1 North of Exit 119

At 1255, the CHC was dispatched for an MVC on Route 1 in the area of mile marker 77. Engine 4 made the response within minutes, under the command of 44-19 (Rutledge). While en route, Kent Center advised that the accident was in Towsend's district. Upon arrival, Engine 4 shut down the north bound lanes of Route 1 and assisted with patient care. Engine 3 responded and shut down Route 1 at Exit 119. Crews then helped clear debris from the road way, before returning to the station. Units Responding: 44-3,44-4, 44 Fire Police
