MVC with injuries - Rt. 13 & Rt. 300, Smyrna

At 1641 the CHC along with Amb. 64 was dispatched for a MVC with injuries in the intersection of Rt. 13 & 300. Within minutes Engine 44-4 under command of 44-16(Jarrell) responded followed shortly by Rescue 44 & 44-0. Crews arrived to find a 2 vehicle MVC with BLS crews from 64 already on scene beginning assessing the pt. Crews from 44-4 & R44 assisted EMS crews with patient care and packaging, securing the vehicles, and clearing debris from the roadway. Two patients were transported by 64 to KGH with minor injuries. 44-16 placed the scene under control and all 44 units returned to quarters. Scene was TOT SPD. Units responding: E44-4, R44, 44-0, 64, SPD, & 44 Fire Police.
