MVC w/ Entrapment - Rt. 1 SB a/o Twin Willow Rd.

At 2307 while crews were on stand-by at the station during the height of the snow storm, CHC units along with Amb. 64 & KM-6 were dispatched for a reported MVC with entrapment on Rt. 1 SB in the area of Twin Willows Rd. Engine 44-4 under command of 44-18(Rutledge) responded almost immediately followed shortly by Rescue 44 & 44-0. Upon arrival crews found a 3 vehicle MVC with a subject trapped in one of the vehicles. The crew from 44-4 began extrication on the trapped subject and R44 tended to the other two vehicles. Extrication was complete in under 10 minutes, and crews assisted 64 & KM-6 with patient packaging. A total of 2 patients were transported to KGH with minor injuries. Command placed the scene under control and all 44 units returned to the station to stand-by for the rest of the night during the snowstorm. Units responding: E44-4, R44, 44-0, A & D 64, KM 5 & 6, DSP, DelDot, and 44 Fire Police
