Truck company Assist Station 45 - 105 S Bassett St

While returning from a AFA in their district, Kent Center advised Engine 45-3 that they were taking a call for a residential structure fire. Kent Center advised the RP reported they had smoke coming from behind the dishwasher in the kitchen. Station 45 along with truck company 44 were dispatched. Engine 453 arrived with nothing evident on a 2 story dwelling. Ladder 44 made the response under command of 44-22, followed by Engine 443. Interior advised to command that they had an active fire in the walls of the kitchen and needed the lines charged. Ladder 44 arrived on scene and was instructed to do a primary search of the dwelling. The Main was also placed to the roof. Engine 443 arrived on scene and was instructed to have the manpower stage at the front door. Interior advised that the fire was knocked and they were checking for extension. The scene was placed under control. Units operated until being released by command.
