Working Residential Structure Fire

At 0005 Hrs, Station 44, Tanker company and Rescue 53 along with Amb 64 and Kent County ALS were dispatched to 4937 Woodland Beach Road for a possible working structure fire. Engine 44-2 made the response under command of 4418 (E. Pierson Jr.)  Past Chief Hankins arrived on scene and reported a 3 story farm house well involved. Engine 2 arrived on scene and layed approx 700 ft of 5inch supply line up the driveway. Ladder 44 arrived on scene and 4416 (D.Neeld) assumed Smyrna Command. Command Advised Kent Center that they had a 3 Story Farm House With Fire on all 3 floors. DNREC was requested due to the fact that this was a DNREC owned property. The Scene was placed under control at 0111hrs. Crews operated until released 0319hrs.
