MVC with vehicle into structure - 2291 Woodland Beach Rd.

At 0912 on Fri. Dec. 5th, Sta. 44 units were dispatched to a reported MVC with a vehicle into a structure. E44-2 under command of Capt. Tate Coulbourne responded shortly after and upon arrival found a pick-up truck into the side of a house. The truck was still lodged into the structure with the driver still inside. Crews from 44-2 & R-44 stabilized the vehicle using step cribbing and Junkyard Dog stabilizing struts. Crews were then able to assist KM-6 & B-64 with removing the pt from the vehicle. The driver sustained no injuries from the collision, but had a medical problem which led up the collision. The pt was transported to KGH by B-64 with KM-6. Rescue 44 remained on scene until arrival of a representative from Kent County L&I was able to inspect the damages. OIC was Capt. Tate Coulbourne. Units responding: E44-2, R-44, 44-0, 44-8, B-64, KM6, DSP, and Kent County L&I.
